Strategic Roadmaps for Continuous Planning
Eliminate annual planning and build top-down plans in minutes –adding work, resources and budgets with ease using drag-and-drop. Our project portfolio management software enables teams to communicate business outcomes across the organization, allowing stakeholders to agree on a common set of objectives.

Centralized Visibility for Simplified Staffing
Information about how people are being allocated across the enterprise should be at your fingertips. That starts with one, consolidated view from which resource managers can understand the activities of all their people and all the work in the queue. Managing resources from a central location is a cornerstone of PPM. Through it, managers can perform nearly every function associated with their jobs. Drill down to see which specific projects each employee is working on as well as each one’s current allocation percentage. Easily switch from a people view to a projects view and back again to clearly understand how they’re intertwined and to evaluate interdependencies. Get alerted to staffing requests requiring approval, and evaluate each request in relation to what other team members are scheduled to work on. Explore adjustments that might better suit the organization with a Microsoft® Excel® – like paradigm that feels comfortable to them on day one.PPM provides a simple way to request and approve resources without having to launch workflows or deal with requisitions. Intuitive, simple and very visual — no complex navigation required.

Manage Projects
Projects are sets of coordinated activities that are managed to deliver a product, service, or other Return on Investment (ROI). The key elements of a project are the tasks (activities) that define the project work and the staff members who perform the work. Scope, time, and budget constraints guide projects. The constraints influence estimates that attempt to determine task duration, project duration, total cost, and other metrics.

Working with Teams Across Portfolios
Define teams, change them on the fly and move them between investments. Automatically update project financials with the actual time spent on each task. Managers can see team’s start and finish dates, booking status, estimated time of completion, total allocations and total actuals.

Task Boards for a Shared Understanding
Vytvořte vizuální seznam úkolů na panelech úloh Clarity PPM (dříve CA Project Portfolio Management). Tento software pro správu portfolia projektů poskytuje vlastní procesní tok, umožňuje přidělovat pracovníkům úkoly a prioritizovat práci. Napomáhá synchronizovat všechny členy týmu a sdílet plány s ostatními skupinami a vedoucími pracovníky.

Familiar Financials for Deeper Analysis
The ability to easily access, view and modify project data is a key to ensuring budgets are well spent. Clarity PPM’s financial planning pages have been redesigned to mimic Microsoft Excel® spreadsheets in both look and feel. Connect this project portfolio management software to your favorite BI software, including Power BI and Tableau.

Measure Progress and Publish Project Status Reports
- Facilitates effective communication.
- Establishes a repeatable process on what has been accomplished.
- Measures how the team is performing.
- Documents what actions are necessary to implement and mitigate risks.
- Highlights where the team should focus to correct problems and should maintain the progress necessary to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Manage Risks, Issues, and Changes
As a scrum master or project manager, you can create new risks, issues, and change requests in each project. Work with the team to mitigate the risk, or if the impact is great enough, raise it as an issue. You can also submit a change request for stakeholders to review and approve.

To-Do Item Scoreboard
A To-Do Item Scoreboard is available on the Tasks page to help teams manage the pace and completion of their assigned task activities. Filter items by due date, project or owner. The following image shows the new scoreboard. Users can drill into a specific task to focus on to-do items in a detail panel with a status filter for viewing only open items, only completed items, or all to-do items with their due dates.

Enter Hours and Submit a Timesheet
As a team member, you are responsible for tracking the number of hours that you work on specific tasks. Update your task status. Use timesheets to track your work hours. Accurate time reporting provides valuable data for project cost tracking and charge code analysis to your company.

Conversations About Projects, Tasks, Risks, Resources
Stay in touch with your team, ask questions and resolve issues using conversations. Project team members and the project manager can reply and mention another team member in the conversation.

As an application administrator or PMO content designer, use blueprints to configure layouts for different types of projects and custom investment types. You can copy and configure blueprints that reflect the goals of each business unit in your organization.
You can associate project templates with project blueprints.
When users create projects from these templates, the project details from the blueprint appear.
The stakeholders for a business unit see only sections, fields, visuals and modules that are relevant to their projects.
